Signature Cocktails

One of my favorite projects as a calligrapher is lettering His/Her Specialty Cocktails on a mirror, a chalkboard, acrylic, wood … It adds a touch of fun to an otherwise formal event and says “party time” for the reception.

Sometimes a couple will choose a drink that is their personal favorite and label each “His/Hers”, “Groom/Bride”, or “Mr./Mrs.”

I have also seen a couple create a specialty cocktail together using a creative title to represent their wedding or the time of year. “Falling into Love” for a fall wedding, or “First Kiss” made with gin, st. germain, and grapefruit juice.

Here are some wedding themed drinks I have lettered that not only had creative titles, but also sounded delicious.

Something Blue: vodka, blue, curaçao, lemonade

Blushing Bride: passion fruit nectar, champagne, grenadine, berries

Tuxedo: gin, dry vermouth, maraschino liqueur, anise liqueur, bitters

Wedding Cake: gin, amaretto, orange juice, pineapple juice, cream
